Madden 2010 Player Ratings

This page refers to Madden 2010. Latest information on Madden 2011.

PastaPadre posted an Excel spreadsheet of Madden 2010 player ratings today. The list only shows the OVR, Acc, and Spd of players, but you do get a good sense of the player’s talent from their overall rating. This includes all 32 teams. It’s in a not-very-web-friendly XLS, so I’ve converted them to a Google Spreadsheet and put them online. Click here for the Madden 2010 Player Rating.

Everybody who is trying to put down all the madden creators and raters obviously are extremely unexperienced players. Any real Madden gamer would know its making the stats actually more realistic, ya so Tom Brady missed a whole year, im a Jets fan but still he's the best QB in the league (arguably P. Manning also). Every single team has room for improvement and player ratings doesn't matter. Any Madden gamer should be able to take any team in the game and be competitive.

I feel that most ppl here have seen the rating but havent played the game………if u actually stop and play madden u will c that most of the player play to there ablities……..Im an eagles fan n no i dont like alll the rating on my team but the way they play is very realistic……if ur someone like me who is looking for a more ralistic game this is a great madden ……….also i think the rating for most ppl are fair the elite have elite rating(peyton, tom,adrain,larry,andre,troy,patirck) i do believ ray lewis is over rated at a 97 thats just me.

but i think u should b rated on how u done in the last two years. if u got injuried once for a season u shouldnt drasically drop like tom brady cuz he has been busting ass for the last 6 years or so. if ur a rising star lke matt ryan u cant be an 90 plus if u only had one good season. also players that have no real name status shouldnt be 80 plus if they r raising pieces on a team (stewart bradley mlb for eagles 77 overall)prime example i think he is a better player than a 77 but he hasnt the resume to be anything higher than a 77……………….also all u jay cutler fans who feel like he should have a 90 plus rating r wrong because yea he lead the league in passing but he didnt win anything n his tea did terrible so that should reflect also he is n a new system so he un tested 88 fair but if u play with him DAT NIGGA CAN THROW!!!!!!!!

green bay tramon williams rated 73 5 int 2 force fumbles 45 solo tackles…. Nnamdi asomugha 1 int 1 ff 40 solo tackles 99 ratings wtf is this crap…. aaron rodgers 4000 plus yard good td to int ratio and some how romo is rated better who makes these ratings

i'll always play madden but these rating got to be made better i don't expect a 99 from tramon williams but damn a 82 ish would be descent lots ofplayers got there ratings based on there named roethlesberger…LT has come off of 2 bad years granted last year was not real bad by rb standards but i think he should only get a 90 at most. franchise qb's all got there ratings.. donovan mcnabb is overrated in this game. a 90 would of done him good… did everyone forget y he got benched? i can go on and on i watch every football game cause i'm a fan and i know when ratings don't make sense i don't expect every player that did considerably good in the 90's but low to mid 80's. also if a player didn't make a pro bowl does not mean he shouldn't be rated higher remember the fans vote for the probowl. i hate philip rivers but the guy can play… and even he got jipped.

i feel what everybody is saying, madden has lost all respect fro me… i mean i use too love maden period now its like no point to play it cause he is juice everybody ratings… and also how is kerry collons a 79 ova and his team went 11-3 last season i mean i kno he old but damn he did get them to the playoff, u got rookie quarterbacks better then him thats just not rite… brady bitch ass been hurt for the whole season and he still like the best like wtf are serious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

personally i like the new madden and i love how the ratings are not very high. in madden 09 it was too unrealistic and after the game you look at the stats and say wow larry fitzgerald just got me 5 tds and 485 yds im awesome! now you actually have to be a good player to have 100 yard rushing days and get behind the safety, and although this may upset fans becasue they arent winning games 75-0, its realistic, how it should be. if you dont like it, learn how to play.

Some of the worst ratings ever. I am having to go through each team and changing players overalls it is that bad. I mean when you give the Dolphins AFC East champs only a rating of only 77, that is rediculous. How do you give a team that made the playoffs with 11 wins a rating of only 77 and they are even a better team than they were last year. Oh by the way, the Bils, who came in last in the AFC East last year, are rated 76. Makes a lot of sense when the Bills are almost higher than the Dolphins, and te Jet are higher than the Dolphins. This is a useless rating system and thanks for such a poor job because now I have to spend forever just making roster ratings somewhat realistic.

People need to calm down, its not the ratings that matter its how u play the game. Im going to get the game, great player roster updates. This is the first time they done alot of updates. ( Vick on Eagles)etc.

If you have such a problem with Madden whether its "tron jogging" or the "ranking system" or anything else for that matter, don't buy it, orrr fucking do a little something called edit ratings on the roster and change til your heart's desired you people are childish I bet 99% of the people who complaining about the game either 1) Don't even have it. 2) Want it but can't even have the next generation consoles so they're mad or 3) Have it and are unsatisfied with the rating of their team its a GAME not real life get over it.

everyone here is retarted, they made everyone shittier, in this game they wanted the superstars to be treated like which, arent you mad when larry fitzgerald catches a long ball and gets caught by rodney harrison, who has about a 0.4 difference in his 40 time, they just wanted the best players to be realistically great, i get bored of my shitty players or my rookies becoming 99 in a couple of years, i want room to improve, it was too easy to hit 99 b4, im happy with this, but the pats shouldnt be that good, madden gives them wayyyy too much credit

ok everyone here is dumber than a sack of rocks. for those of you bitching about the ravens it's because even though joe flacco is an upcoming force at qb, he still didnt really do much last year, mason is old as hell and has declined, todd heap is no where near as good anymore and has fallen a lot, they lost ogden on the line, none of their receivers have proven to do anything but fill spots on the field, mcgahee has fallen a lot, rice didnt score and show anything as a rookie, mclain is a full back not a true running back, they lost their two starting cbs and starting two young first time starters instead, lost scott, and most important to their defense they lost rex ryan. that seems like a lot of reason to rate them at an 82, the texans are better than the saints because schaub is getting better each year, they have a better run game, they have arguably the best receiver in the game in johnson (fitz and johnson don't have much separating them) their defense is a lot better, as for the titans, they are a run heavy team, collins is old, young has done nothing, they had one consistent receiver in gage but he still wasn't that good, they lost haynesworth, no tight end, tulloch was just so so, kearse is old and not as dominant giving reason to have them an 87, the seahawks are that low because they have no secondary to speak of, tutupu is the only one good on that d until now with curry, julius jones isn't that good and can't find an endzone. these rankings take into consideration the proven value of the starters on each team, the depth at each position, previous success and the age of the players. stop bitching and just play

I think its a bunch of crap. Im a chargers fan and im not happy with how all the overalls were handled. Personally, every fucking year, i have to change the ratings every Charger player because of the underratings. Phillp Rivers, should get a 94-96 overall because of his proformance last year, LT overall is fine, however shawn merrimans is a different story, if brady can sit out and get above a 95, then why merrimans is not above a 95? the guy had 39.5 sacks the past 4 years, one year without even playing, you tell me below a 95 is bad. Vincent Jackson, 6'5, 240 pds. 40 time is a 4.35, he is pound for pound the best wide reciever out there and he gets below a 90??? He should get the same rating as brandon marshall or even better. Eric Weddle, the guy had 109 tkls last year, second in the league( 1st-patrick willis-110tkls) and you give him an 84? He is way better than an 84, hes more in range of 88-90 overall. Idk why antonio gates overall went down, the guy always has consistent stats. IF MADDEN IS BASING THEIR OVERALL ON STATS, THEY ARE SADLY MISTAKEN, ITS CALLED OVERALL FOR A REASON (SPEED, STRENTGH, ETC.) THEY SHOULD HAVE A BALANCE RATHER GETTING IT FROM STATS.

Bought this game when it came out, figured they would have a patch or better updates for this crappy game. I have owned every madden made since i was 12 till now, and the last few years madden has sucked the big one. Just going off the name to keep making money and not trying to make this even life like anymore. Started to be like those other arcade knock off football games. I know others not impressed anymore also and tired of it. I will not buy anymore of these crappy games until they decide to change.

I don't understand is this 09 team ratings or madden 10 team ratings because i believe that the saints who this year are 13-0 and soon to be 14-0 with a win over the cowboys should be rated higher than 74 three points lower than the seahawks with a record of 5-11

God you guys are stupid. They base the stats off of the prior year's performance and try to guage how the teams will do. So long as you are connected to the EA Servers, you will get roster and team updates. Teams get better as they perform better.

guys, you all are forgeting one thing…if you know your teams strengths and weakness, you use them to your advantage to win….and stop the damn whining. Who actually has stock/money invested in one of these teams??? …nonaya! It is a freakin game, have fun, rant and talk sh*t wit ya boi's and keep it moing. This (2010) is one of the best Maddens to date (and the one wit Vick on the cover (I think '04).

out of all the things i want to see changed in this game. i want to put an end to cheese and glitching. i know its hard but im one of the few people that would prefer to buy the prefect football game. i would not care if its 200 bucks or still 60 but i want it to be prefect. it is no longer fun to play in lobbies online because people always go for it on 4th down, will goaline it down the field, rocket catching, gltiching cheesing and using same plays over and over because they know they work whatever the other person does. please just fix this. i would love to see contracts and pregame shows like everyone else but overall just please fix the glitching and cheesing for now its getting old and soon it might be pointless to buy the game.
