Madden 2010 Player Ratings

We’ve compiled a list of player ratings and sorted them in a viewable format by team. These ratings are based on PastaPadre’s Player Ratings posted on June 15, 2009. These ratings are subject to change and may not reflect the player or team ratings that the final build of the game ships with. Additionally, EA will be releasing updated ratings throughout the NFL season to reflect player performance.

Hello August 5, 2009 at 12:52 pm: No I don't like the new player ratings. I am a packer fan and last year they didn't have the best season but they lost all lot of those games by 4 points or less. Also the defense blew some of the games so they shouldn't lower the player ratings on offense. I read that Shawn Slocum said Mason Crosby works really hard and that when he missed the field goal at minnesota or when the bears blocked his kick that is just part or being a kicker, so don't lower his accuracy to 78. I look at the ratings as in school grades.
90-99=A
80-89=B
70-79=C
60-69=D
50-59=F-which in madden 2009 I barely saw
40-49=the worst it can get
Every year when I got the game it was like ea sports made the players but then I had to go under rosters and completely redo the ratings. I think I would do a better job at rating them then ea sports.
If there were any players rated somewhere in the 60's I bring it up to somewhere in the 70's.
It might sound like I'm just making the packers better so I can win, but there have been times where I know a halfback is really bad a stiff arming and they put a high rating for it so I lowered it. I looks like this will be worse. Also some of the rookie rating are way to low. B.J. Raji got around every offensive linemen and now he is only rated at 80.

Also I don't know whether I should buy it for PSP or XBOX 360.

Ryan August 5, 2009 at 5:12 pm: Did you mean PS3? Cus if you meant PSP you should buy it for X box. But if you meant PS3 it is a toss up. PS3 has better graphics. X box has better online play. On Raji being ranked too low at 80, rookie ratings started at 85 with Curry, then 84 for J Smith and Crabtree. With this type of scale, an 80 for Raji is not all that far off. The highest he could be ranked is an 85 and he was not the highest rated prospect in the draft. Most boards went Curry, Crabtree, J Smith, then the rest were usually different depending on who you talk to. Raji was consitered a top 15 pick befor the draft. He went at #9. With the scale Madden is using, being picked where he was and his supposed rating before the draft, the 80 ratings is about right. He will get his ratings bump after he proves himself in the NFL.

Hello August 5, 2009 at 10:56 pm: No I have a PSP and a xbox 360. I know xbox 360 is better but it's $60 and PSP is only $40. I guess if I think about it 80 is a good rating for Raji.
